High School Completion

There are two ways to complete your high school education through Bangor Adult & Community Education. One option is our High School Diploma program. In this program, we will analyze your current high school transcript and determine what classes you need to complete to meet our high school diploma requirements. We have day, evening, and distance learning options to fit your busy schedule. All high school completion classes are free of charge. Another option is to take the High School Equivalency Test, or HiSet. The HiSet is a series of exams in Language Arts (Reading and Writing), Math, Science, and Social Studies. We have classes available to help you prepare for the HiSet exam. The classes and the exam are free for Maine residents. The preparation classes are offered during the day and evening. We also have distance learning options available. It is never too late to complete high school. Begin your journey today by contacting the Learning Center at 207-941-6315 or email Learning Center.
